The last few days have been unreal.... As you all know I am retired from the military and have been waiting for my new job to start. It has been one thing after another pushing back that start date to where now there is no estimate for that start date. I have been a little frustrated the past few weeks... not knowing is the worst!

Anyway, back to the last few days... Things have fallen into place where we will be moving from Sunny Southern California to Washington State! Yes, moving! We will be headed up there in June. Funny how things turnout. My blogging will be sporadic over the next couple months as I prepare for the move but once we are settled in up there I will be back at it! Until then I have a lot of work to do! Lots of horse stuff to inventory, and entire house to go through and lots of things to take to the thrift store!

Shedding the Foal Coat

Epona is so smart and so much fun to work with. She is learning so fast! I try to teach her something new to "tolerate" after each round pen session. I am using mostly "Clinton Anderson" methods with her mixed with a little from my Grandad and personal experience. After the round penning, I do  "desensitization" with her. I am so proud of her. She is learning to stand still and not panic whatever comes at her! Next we will tackle... The Plastic Bag!!! She gets a rinse off bath after each session as she still has a super thick "winter/foal coat." Any advice as to how to get her to shed it out faster? Or should I just try to body clip her?

Tomorrow is Woobie's day! We are going to have a wonderful arena workout followed by a full fledged bath! Life is good in Southern California!

She has such a pretty face!

Super fuzzy baby!!!
